The “angel number” 222 has guided me throughout my life and signifies trusting the process, collaboration, and harmony. The unified 12-hour and 24-hour clock embodies these phenomena by gently distorting time and inviting a reflective pause.
Furthering this concept, Senza Fine, which translates to “Endless,” defines the spirit that drives you—and its expressions that power your watch’s automatic movement. With daring originality, these timepieces stand confident, clear, and encourage the same.
The HMRIW Story:
I have always loved art, and my passion for horology is no different. The only way to explain this is that my spirit feels empty without creating, and my wrist feels naked without a watch.
The clarity of my next artistic adventure came when family history illuminated the path. Memories of delivering "tumbling media" to the jewelry district with my Uncle resurfaced, intertwining with a powerful, newly revealed story: my Aunt Antonia, just one day after immigrating from Italy, began her 40+ year career in manufacturing at the Bulova Watch Company in Providence, Rhode Island.
This story ignited my immediate desire to own a timepiece from my home state. When my search proved unfulfilling, I created Homemade Rhode Island Watch.
The name represents more than just the origin and inspiration behind each timepiece. It's a bold vision for the future and a heartfelt tribute to my Italian family's enduring traditions and values.
