222

Have you ever looked out over the ocean and felt that feeling?

Harmony—Captured In My Signature Design.

222 signifies trusting the process, collaboration, and, yes, harmony. The unified 12-hour and 24-hour clock embodies these phenomena by gently distorting time and inviting a pause.

Furthering this concept, Senza Fine, which translates to “Endless,” defines the spirit that drives you—and its expressions that power your watch’s automatic movement. With daring originality, these timepieces stand confident, clear, and encourage the same.

The HMRIW Story:

I have always loved art, and my passion for horology is no different. The only way to explain this is that my spirit feels empty without creating, and my wrist feels naked without a watch.

Then, one day, it all clicked. I heard a story about how my Aunt Antonia, just one day after immigrating from Italy to America, started work at the Bulova Watch Company in Providence, Rhode Island. After learning this, I had to own a watch built in Rhode Island.

Unfulfilled by my search, inspired by her story, and excited to share my Italian hospitality, I combined and refined my skill sets to create HMRIW.

What Makes HMRIW Tick:

  • Creating Attainable Heirlooms using only time-tested, high-quality, readily available parts. This ensures your watch can be maintained and/or repaired indefinitely.

  • Parts and services that are sourced from other small and local businesses.

  • Rooted production and distribution in passion, not profit.

  • Prioritizing community, transparency, and relationships over all else.

  • Creating designs that are as unique as they are timeless.

  • Quality control from first thought to final product, ensuring you only receive a timepiece that I would proudly wear.

warranty/use & care

  • Though I am well accomplished in this craft, I am not a professional watchmaker or service center. I only work on watches I built that have not been worked on elsewhere. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you need more clarification.

  • 2-Day No Questions Asked Returns:

Must be in completely new and unworn condition with all original packaging. Buyer pays the return shipping cost.

    2-Month Limited Warranty:

In the unlikely event your watch acts a fool within 2 months of purchase, send it to me for a free diagnostic, repair, or replacement. This limited warranty covers manufacturing faults, failures, or defects. This warranty does not cover issues such as:

    • Damage due to improper care or expected consequences of use, such as abrasions and aging.

    • Mechanical failure from impact or mishandling

    • Water damage caused by improper crown usage or disregard for resistance depth.

    • Malfunction of the quick set date function due to poor mechanical care (e.g., changing the date between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., AKA “the danger zone”)

    • Warrenty Voided if the watch is opened by anyone other than me.

    2-Years Fresh-Up & Check-Up:

Send your watch to me within 2 years of purchasing for a complimentary exterior cleaning, strap change, time regulation, and water-resistance test. You pay shipping to me; I pay shipping back to you.

IMPORTANT: Metal-plated parts (e.g., Rose Gold) are excluded from warranty because they will tarnish over time and require re-plating based on many factors, including use and daily care.

All my watches come with lifetime customer support. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

  • Your new watch features a “workhorse” Japanese-made NH-35 automatic movement with a three-position crown. After unscrewing the crown (counterclockwise, and please BE GENTLE), the functions are as follows:

    Position 1: Manual Wind (clockwise)

    Position 2: Date Setting (counterclockwise)

    Position 3: Time (both directions)

After use, return the crown to position 1, push in, and screw down until it stops (clockwise). This is vital as it produces a waterproof seal.

    • DO NOT change the date between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m., AKA "the danger zone"

    • Wipe down with the provided cloth after each use. Skin oils, products, and environmental conditions will affect your watch's finish, which is not covered under warranty.

    • Your watch should be serviced and lubricated every 5-6 years, depending on usage.
